Yes, you can dial 911 for emergencies using the Sangoma Talk application. The Sangoma Talk app acts as a softphone, which means it routes your call through your cellular network. When you dial 911 within the app, it will function the same way as dialing 911 directly from your phone's native dialer. Since the call is routed through your cellular network, emergency services will receive your approximate location information based on your cell tower connection.
For critical situations, it's always best to rely on a phone with a direct cellular connection whenever possible. If the Sangoma Talk app is unable to detect your location, it will pass the call to the assigned 911 service address on your Seigler Technologies account. If possible, be prepared to tell the dispatcher your location when you call 911.
